Marge Leeper was born in Athens, Alabama and attended
schools there and in Selma, Alabama. She studied
design and Interior decorating brore taking up art in San
Antonio, Texas at the Art Institute there.
Marge continued her studies on Okinawa (Oriental Art),
and then in Germany under Professor Art Herr Joseph
Hande of Munich University. Followed by three years of
private instruction in Advanced Principles of Art from
Herr Joaheim Ludwig of Ramstin-Dorf.
Marge's continued studies in this country have been in
Advanced Still life Painting, Life Drawing, and Advanced
Marine Art. Her works have been purchased literally all
over the world and are hanging in banks, restaurants,
motels, businesses, and private homes from Germany to
Florida.
The Director of Orlando ( Florida) Chamber of Commerce
honored Marge by selecting one of her paintings to be
hung in the Chamber off commerce building to represent
Central Florida artists.
Marge taught under the Institute of Life-Time Learning,
Valencia college (off campus), Orlando Florida.
She now freelances with her hand painted furniture and
paintings and her " Little Ones" Dolls.
Marge has 3 sons nd 7 grandchildren. She opened her
first Antique Shop in 1978. Through the years she also
taught art in the back room of that shop.
Marge sells Vintage Clothing, linens, and anything she
can clean, paint, and make beautiful. she is always
buying linens, old white vintage clothing, unusual
furniture, lamps, hats, gloves, and art things.. Look for
her articles on paintings and history of art. You must
come in and meet this extraordinary woman.
